A Vision of Heaven

Can you imagine a place so perfect that everyone was kind to one another, compassionate with one another, patient with one another, and lived in total peace?

Can you imagine a place so beautiful that everywhere you turned was more magnificent than the next?

Can you imagine a place where people lived to bring joy to others and fill them with light and didn’t think about their own needs?

Can you imagine a place where truth was seeped into the very atmosphere, into the DNA of everything that was there?

This is what I think of when I hear the parable “the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant, searching for fine pearls. When he finds a pearl of great price, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys it.” Matthew 13:45. I pray in hope and anticipation that one day I too will share this inheritance.
